It was great to work with these guys! Such professionals! Great communication throughout the whole process and great service provided!
I reached out to these guys to mix and tune my vocals. Turnaround was really fast. Very satisfied
It was awesome to work with these guys! I've sent them over my demo and they took it to the next level! I've had a scratch vocal idea and a simple instrumental demo. They wrote new instrumental and did full mixing and mastering. Really satisfied with the result, will definitely get back to them again!
Interview with Diamond Dogs Production
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: We proud of official remix on Flux Pavillion track "Pull the Triger" which one of our members did. Great track
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: At this moment we are working on a synth-pop arangment for one of our clients
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: We know Tom Dupree. We watched a lot of his youtube videos. He seems like a customer oriented provider and like a nice person.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: We'll do everything we possibly can to satisfy you with your final song
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: We do love to work with different types of music and turning customers ideas into a final product. That's a great feeling
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What kind of mood are you looking for? Do you have reference tracks? Do you prefere to have analog synths in the arrangment? Do you want us to keep some initial elements from your demo?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Feel free to describe what you are looking for in the final product in details. That really helps to bring the best product for you
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Grand Piano Yamaha C1X for sure, because it doesn't need to be charged. Also acoustic guitar, drum machine, and a megaphone to sing as loud as we can:)
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: We've been producing more than 10 years now
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Again, hard to pick one but we think of Charlie Puth. Because he's such a talanted producer as well as a singer. So he combines these two skills together and it would be really interesting to work together with him in the studio one day
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Try not to overproduce your songs. We know it's hard sometimes but what we've learnt over the past years - it's better to find a few synths and sounds that song really needs rather than just stack tons of layers on top of each other and have hard times mixing them all together afterwards. It's all about picking the right sounds
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mostly we specialise in Pop music. But we are have written songs in almost all genres i guess
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually clients reach out to us with some demo idea, they describe what they are looking for in the final product, then we discuss all the tiny details and start working
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: We take inspiration from different genres and artists. It's hard to pick one but from production perspective we really digging into what Ian Kirkpatrick, Max Martin and Benny Blanco do. As well as we like unique styles of Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa, SHM, Charlie Puth
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Actually most of the time our clients reach out to us for a production over their initial demo idea or mix their songs. Also many of them ask us to build an instrumental completely from scratch, they describe to us all the details and the vibe they are looking for
