Are you looking for that crystal clear mix that will make your song stand out? I'm your guy. No more mediocre GarageBand mixes, you've entered the big leagues. I have 6+ years of industry experience/study at the Berklee college of music. I have access to multi-million dollar studios/software and will get your track popping guaranteed!
Hi my name is CELLO! I've been a producer, writer, and mixing engineer in the industry for over six years. I start by creating a balanced stereo mix, and from there I add custom effects. I don't use any presets on your music. Each track will have its unique EQ, compression, reverb/delay, and/or whatever else is needed. Finally, I bounce the tracks into a separate project to master your song and get it ready to be released!
I love collaborating with artists of all different genres to help manifest their goals. I'm also a hip hop/pop artist myself and have music under CELLO on all platforms!
Let's make something we are both proud of.

Interview with Joey Marcello
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Shure SM7B, Audio interface, Genelec monitors, and my dog
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been in the music industry since I left high school and never plan to leave! I love all aspects of writing, performing, and producing music.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I'm not afraid of the extremes. I'll often hard pan instruments left and right, as well as make extreme EQ choices to properly filter the mix.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on Hip Hop/Rap, but also love working on Pop, Hyperpop, R&B, Indie Pop, Rock, and more!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use Berklee's world class studios, equipped with industry standard outboard gear and plugins. I usually mix in Logic but can use Protools as well.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually mix/master for my clients, but occasionally collaborate as a writer/producer if I really like the artist.
