I am a professional classical singer, born in Paris and based in New York. I was a recent Fulbright scholar for the arts, where I studied sean-nós singing with the incomparable Iarla Ó Lionáird. My musical inspirations range from Rhiannon Giddens to Ella Fitzgerald to James Blake. I like working with composers and music-makers in a collaborative way; I speak French and Italian, and can sing in those languages plus German, Spanish, Irish, and Russian. We hired Francesca earlier this year for a studio session for our short film project, and she completely exceeded expectations. She has a fantastic, versatile voice that is full of depth and shimmer, which allows her to explore a wide range of musical genres. In our case, we had a sort of hybrid, operatic 'new music' piece for Lyric Soprano. She completely overdelivered and nailed it.
