Richard is a classically trained pianist with a double degree in Film Scoring and Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee. He was awarded the Award for Creativity in Commercial Writing and graduated with the highest honors from Berklee, Summa Cum Laude.
Richard Wang is now based in Los Angeles where he collaborates with some of the biggest filmmakers and musicians in the movie industry. He has experience writing and recording a full orchestra and is able to achieve the highest expressivity in these environments.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on music for film or arrangements for songs. These songs can range from Emo Rock to Electronic Pop.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I am mostly writing string arrangements, orchestral arrangements, or writing original music for media.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My setup consists of my computer, two screens, two Yamaha HS8 speakers, a MIDI Keyboard, and a 88 key Yamaha P-255 electric piano.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My biggest inspiration comes from Hans Zimmer's music productions for movies, as well as the masterful writing from the masters such as John Powell, Harry Gregson Williams, and John Williams.
