Home recording guitarist capable of multiple genres
Hello! I'm a home recording guitarist with influence from mostly rock and metal bands like Guns & Roses, Blink-182, Metallica, but capable of multiple genres like blues, pop, jazz, funk. Just give me a partiture, tablature or chord chart and I will learn the song in no time, either playing the song precisely, or improvizing when required.
I use PreSonus Studio One as my DAW and have access to various VST plugins, including most of the stuff by Neural DS; Archetype Plini, Gojira, Cory Wong. I can supply a DI track if wanted.
Send me a note through the contact button above.
Interview with Axel Damaso
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. I don't have the money to spend on analog gear, and amp simulation software has gotten to the point where it's very difficult to tell the difference between the real thing.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Make sure you can at least hear every instrument on the mix. Use a spectrum meter to see which frequencies are lacking content, and boost or eq to compensate
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Metal or Rock
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Electric guitar goes directly into my behringer audio interface, inside my DAW I can apply whatever plugin I like. Sound comes out through a vintage National 4 Channel Stereo System
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Paul Gilbert, Marty Friedman, Slash.
