Manu Beker is a pop singer-songwriter from Mexico City whose work is an eclectic blend of various sounds from Soul, R&B, K-Pop and Latin Trap. In 2021 Manu established himself as one of the most promising up and coming pop projects in Mexico City’s music scene with his EP, Se Jodió, which earned him the cover photo of Spotify’s indiekid playlist.

Manu Beker is a pop singer-songwriter from Mexico City whose work is an eclectic blend of various sounds from Soul, R&B, K-Pop and Latin Trap.

Although Manu has been making music since his teenage years, it was during 2021 that Manu recently established himself as one of the most promising up and coming pop projects in Mexico City’s music scene, debuting his first singles in Spanish starting in February and leading up to his EP, Se Jodió, which garnered the attention of local music media and earned him the cover photo of Spotify’s indiekid playlist upon its December release.

In addition to his solo project, Manu has also earned his place as pop songwriter for other latinx musical projects in major labels such as Universal Music. Some of his collaborators include YOSHI, RENEE (UMG), Jacinto (UMG) and Ferraz, all major figures in the world of Mexican Pop.

Since 2017, Manu has also been pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music at the California Institute of The Arts, where he is also a recipient of the Lillian Disney Award, a scholarship for musical and artistic merit, and is currently the mentee of José Ríos of the Free Nationals and of singer-songwriter Angela Parrish.
