After eighteen years of musical experience and seven years of recording, producing, and composing, I'm looking to create an ambitious and beautiful new score. I've tackled multiple genres, made many ambient, rich, melodic scores. I want to take on a new challenge. I want to give you a full score and soundscape for your next project.
I've been working as a music composer and solo musician for seven years. I've played guitar and piano for eighteen. My solo work is all over streaming services. I've composed for theatre productions, film, short film, video, and student film (USC and CSUN when I was living in Los Angeles). I've worked as a freelance designer and videographer. I'm always creating something.

Interview with Samuel Kinsella
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital is an endless landscape to explore.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The ability to create something beautiful. Something people can hold on to, something that can give meaning.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I don't do everything myself. Everything you hear, every bit of sound, every instrument, every voice, every piece of artwork, everything. It's all me.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been playing music for eighteen years. Composing, recording, and producing for seven. I'll likely do it for the rest of my life.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: My own solo music is a blend of pop, alternative art rock, folk acoustics, dream vocal layers, and introspective themes. My composition work is often semi-orchestral, with unique electronic accents. Sometimes desert guitars, sometimes wind instruments, sometimes only percussion. I've been able to flex around whatever the client needs.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I have always had a unique eye and ear, seeing and hearing things predictively. Composition comes incredibly easy to me, and it's what I love doing.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I create full and dedicated scores that enhance the client's project, wether it be for film, tv, games, anything. I steep myself in the world they want me to create, and I emerge with accompaniment.
