Matt is an amazing well-rounded musician and sound engineer.. very patient and accommodates your needs perfectly.
He mixed two songs for us and we will definitely return with the next single! I recently worked with Matt on a fairly difficult rock mix which needed a lot of love and attention. His intuition and instincts as a mix engineer were spot on and he brought the song to life in a modern way without losing the analog soul and intention of the song.
Matt communicated in a very professional and timely manner and even made a few suggestions to the production which took the song to a spectacular place. Matt is great to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to take their mix to the next level!

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I have many idols among musicians and mix engineers, and it’s impossible to list them all here. Influential figures for me as a musician include Jeff Porcaro, Dave Weckl, Nicko McBrian, David Garibaldi, Lars Ulrich, John Bonham, Paul Stanley, Bruce Kulick, Eric Singer, Lzzy Hale, David Garibaldi, James Hetfield, and many more. Among my favorite mix engineers are certainly: Tony Wright, Randy Staub, Ben Grosse, Michael Brauer, and Chris Lord-Alge.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I specialize in mixing and music production. As a seasoned multi-instrumentalist, I leverage my experience to record instrumental parts for clients on drums, bass, and guitar. I can also arrange and sing lead and backing vocals parts.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I have both analog and digital equipment at my disposal, aiming to harness the strengths of both. When recording, I strive to ensure that all tracks are captured using analog instruments. During mixing, with the use of plugins, we can achieve any intended effect. In today's reality, given the workload, mixing 'in the box' undoubtedly offers the most flexibility and time efficiency.
