Noa Hope on SoundBetter

I’m Noah Schatteiner, also known as Noa Hope, a music producer based in Berlin. With more than 12 years in the industry, I’ve developed a strong sense of current trends and the sounds that truly resonate with listeners. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering and my productions have accumulated over 3 million streams to date.

Having worked with artists such as Jordan Grace, Daniel McMillan, Rene Rodrigezz, Rory Hope, and KAJAK, I bring extensive experience collaborating with highly skilled singers, songwriters and producers. At just 23, my productions have already surpassed 3 million streams across all platforms.

My music has been released on labels including Universal Music, Sony Records, Tough Stuff Music, Loud x Lucky, TXTRS RCRDS, and many more. For a broader impression of my work, feel free to check out my curated Spotify playlist.

I work as both a Producer and Mixing/Mastering Engineer, specializing in EDM - particularly Deep House, Hyper Techno, Slap House, and other four-on-the-floor genres - as well as vocal editing. Whatever you’re looking for, share your ideas and vision with me, and I’ll go above and beyond to deliver results that exceed your expectations.

I just finished my first project with Noa! I hired him to do the production of one of my songs, and I am very happy with the result! It was a great experience and a smooth process from start to end! He really took his time to understand my vision and quickly implemented it exactly how I imagined it! He was super patient and fast with any of my changing requests and working out the details! He is a very talented producer, communicative, and easy to work with! Thank you!

Interview with Noa Hope

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: Building a strong community and network is an essential part of my journey. I’m continuously developing my social presence while expanding my work in music production and artist coaching for the next generation. I love supporting emerging musicians, producers, and artists—helping them grow, evolve, and reach new levels.

  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: I value smooth communication and fast delivery while ensuring complete satisfaction. For me, communication and honesty are everything - if you tell me what you like and what you don’t, I genuinely love refining the work until it feels right for you. If you’re not fully happy with the result, I’m always open to hopping on a call or receiving detailed feedback so we can perfect the track together and meet your expectations.

  5. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  6. A: Working on something that everyone on this planet can resonate with - music - is incredibly fulfilling. It’s pure emotion, pure feeling, and I get to do what I love every single day. For me, nothing could be better than that.

  7. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  8. A: All you truly need is a laptop, a microphone, an interface, and the right mindset. No fancy gear or expensive plugins will magically improve your sound - it’s all about skill, experience, and mindset.

  9. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  10. A: Since the age of 11 (born on December 8, 2002), I've been creating electronic music. The journey since then has been a wild one - producing countless tracks, completing an internship with Austrian DJ & Producer Rene Rodrigezz, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Engineering, and eventually moving to Berlin to collaborate with some of the industry’s top producers, including work at the legendary Hansa Studios. Alongside this, I’ve continued building my own artist project “Noa Hope”, growing a strong community and social media presence, and working with clients on production, music mindset, and music industry coaching. Over the years, my music has accumulated several million streams across all major platforms. I never stop moving forward and building something meaningful - not only for myself, but for other artists as well. My goal is to provide the knowledge and support I wish I had when I first started.

  11. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  12. A: Bringing a track to where it truly belongs is at the core of my work. I trust my gut feeling - adding or removing elements based on whether they enhance the song or hold it back from reaching its full potential. I am specialized in EDM production and vocal editing.

  13. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  14. A: Most of the time, I break a track down to what it truly needs. Sometimes a song contains too many elements, so I refine and remove what doesn’t serve the production. Other times, certain parts need support, and I strengthen them accordingly. I focus on listening closely to both the music and the artist’s vision to achieve the perfect result.

  15. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  16. A: I work on both finishing existing IDs and building full productions from scratch, including complete mixing and mastering. I also offer vocal editing, delivering industry-standard vocal mixes for EDM and Pop artists.

  17. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  18. A: Digital. Of course a lot of people prefer analog because of the "analog magic" it brings with in its sound. But honestly the most analog plug-ins as well as the synths are nearly perfectly digital recreated.

  19. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  20. A: Mindset: When you truly listen to your inner voice - letting it guide you on whether an idea or a song is right - you begin to master your craft. It all comes down to trusting your skills and your intuition. Technique: Dive deep into EQing, stereo imaging, and sidechaining, and your productions will reach entirely new levels.

  21. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  22. A: Deep House, Hyper Techno, Dance Pop, Slap House, House Music

  23. Q: What's your typical work process?

  24. A: Starting with chords and getting creative with sound design to give every song an own character. Most important thing for me is, to be creative but not to overdo it.
