Producer & Mixer with 15+ Years Experience | Cinematic, Genre-Blending Records with Depth & Emotion
Hey! I’m a producer and mixing engineer based in Nashville, TN, with over 15 years of experience working across Pop, Country, Americana, Funk, Electronic, Hip-Hop, and Cinematic music.
What I love most is helping artists discover their sound, whether we're starting from a worktape, doing additional production, or mixing something that they have already produced. I bring a wide range of experience across multiple genres and a cinematic approach to production, creating tracks that feel big, emotional, and immersive while still serving the song at its core. I'm obsessed with making sure that every choice we make is tasteful and serves the story arc of the song first.
While in Nashville I’ve had the pleasure of working with artists including Valerie Lynn, Eric VanZant, Due South, MLYN, and Sophie Lynn, and I especially enjoy collaborating with indie artists who want to create something unique and meaningful that they can genuinely be proud of.
I’m easygoing, collaborative, and communicative throughout the process. Whether you’re starting from a rough demo or polishing a nearly finished track, my goal is always the same: elevate your vision and make the song hit harder emotionally and sonically.
If you’re looking for a producer or mixer who listens first, brings depth and creativity, and treats your music like it matters, let’s make something special.

Interview with Colton Good
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I am extra good at creating all of the little layers of sound that are felt more than heard that give a song more character and beauty.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: The most important part is to not bring an ego, be open to going in any new direction and to let the artist steer the vision of the song because it's THEIR SONG. The next thing I bring is 20 years of creating every kind of music out there, I've played in orchestras, jazz bands, reggae bands, experimental electronic things, pop bands, rap groups, everything, so I have a large bag of sounds to pull from.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I started because I loved film music and I wanted to be a session musician, then I learned more and more about production by listening to people like Hans Zimmer and Henry Jackman. I started learning more about pop production from guys like Ian Kirkpatrick, Charlie Puth, and Ryan Tedder, and I get really into the techniques of pop producers like Zedd, Grey, The Chainsmokers and NOTD
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most commonly I receive a worktape, usually a phone recording of voice and guitar, and I will create a pretty polished demo for the client's approval, then from there we will decide if we need to hire any session musicians and the plans for recording final vocals. Finally I usually mix all of my productions and can provide a mastered final product.
