I've been in and around music my entire life.
Whether it was going to legendary jazz clubs in LA and New York to watch the greatest play or performing live in front of 40,000 people, my experiences instilled me with a unique musical expertise that spans countless genres, styles, and eras. I have acquired an audio certificate from The Blackbird Academy in Nashville as well as a Bachelor of Arts in percussion performance from Cal State Long Beach, studying under Ted Atkatz.
As an active assistant engineer working for the legendary Val Garay ("Bette Davis Eyes," Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, Elton John, Dolly Parton, Santana) and Carlos De La Garza (Paramore, Best Coast, Major Lazer, Cold War Kids, Ziggy Marley), I've developed an unparalleled ear for great sounding and great feeling music. I have the sense of mind to listen to your story, take your suggestions and bring exactly what your music needs to sound and feel the best. My process s 100% collaborative, but I'm not afraid to hold my ground on sonic decisions I truly believe enhance your project. Your song or album is your baby, and I treat it as such.
