Musicarta Media is a project studio in South East London, specialising in the recording and filming of acoustic grand piano, acoustic guitar, vocals and voice-overs. Featuring a medium-sized live room and separate control room, the facilities are optimised for solo musicians and small ensembles.
Designed, assembled and managed by our in-house engineer/producer, Oliver Bowring, the studio is founded on efficiency and technical excellence. A Sony DMX-R100 24-channel digital mixing console is the centrepiece of the control room, alongside high-end preamps and various outboard. Our extensive microphone collection includes both vintage specialities and modern industry favourites.
Our team includes talented photographers and videographers, giving musicians a fantastic opportunity to capture additional visual material during their session. With digital marketing and social media becoming increasingly important, this is an invaluable extension of the traditional recording session. We’re well known for our studio music videos, underpinned by compelling imagery and a highly musical approach to editing.
Due to our smaller and more streamlined studio complex, we are able to offer more affordable packages than many of our competitors. Our aim is to give independent artists and small ensembles the ability to achieve the production quality of a large, traditional studio at a fraction of the cost. Our pricing is flexible, offering half/full day and dry/wet hire, with discounts available for multiple bookings.
