I was classically trained, then I switched to jazz and earned a Masters in Music degree at City College in New York City. I live in Paris and in my 10+ years career I have worked with famous artists, radio, television in Europe and the USA.
I can provide you with a high quality recording of a beautiful grand piano or keyboards from my home studio, starting from your music chart, or from an audio or MIDI file you send me.

A: I'm working on a new project that will be featured on national television.

A: I like analog, because it's more real. But digital sometimes does a great job as well.

A: People think making music is easy. I trained myself my whole life to deliver high quality music products.

A: I try to understand clearly what they have in mind for their music, so I can deliver exactly what they want.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Emanuele Filippi is an Italian-born, award-winning pianist and composer. He has earned a Classical piano degree at the Conservatory of Udine, Italy and a Jazz piano Masters degree at City College in New York City. He has performed at prestigious venues such as: Blue Note in Milan, La Fenice Theater in Venice, Mercury Lounge in New York, Jamboree in Barcelona, Ibiza Jazz Festival and many more. Emanuele has performed with some of the greatest jazz musicians in the world including: Seamus Blake, Chris Morrissey, Fabrizio Bosso, Jure Pukl, Glauco Venier and more.

A: Make it feel good.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: All genres including: pop, jazz, singer-songwriter, rock, reggae, hip-hop, techno.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Piano skills, harmonic knowledge, improvisation, sight reading, playing by ear, arranging, orchestrarion.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring to a song exactly what it needs. I don't overplay and I deeply care about each single job I get.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: After receiving your request, I listen to your song, or look at your chart and make an estimate of the cost based on length and difficulty of the task. Then I make an offer, and after it's accepted I start working and deliver as soon as possible.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I play a wonderful Yamaha grand piano GC1 in my home studio. I record with Lewitt LCT 040 stereo pair mics through Behringer Firepower FCA1616 audio interface I mix with Ableton live on Macbook Pro.
