I've mixed lots of stuff -- St. Vincent, Sleater Kinney, Lana Del Rey, Paul McCartney, Wavves, Foxygen, Mini Mansions, Julian Lage, Doyle Bramhall II, etc
I am a mixing engineer by way of record producer. Lucky to have been mentored by the great Eric Valentine.
Please don't hire to make your live band sound like a live band. I like clear, loud, and exciting recordings -- I want your record to be a cinematic experience.
I'm not the cheapest option, but I love people and I love music, and we'll work on your songs until they're finished and you're 100% happy.
Hire me! Or don't!
Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you asap.
Interview with Cian Riordan
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both are terrible. I'm trying to operate in a different realm.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Probably my Air Fryer.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Listening.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: USB stick that you mail me into the dongle into the iPad and LFG.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: iPad Air with a cracked screen & original Airpods. Not the pros, either.
We revise until we're done. If I feel like you're taking advantage of this, then I'll let you know. But it's never been an issue in my 15 years of mixing.
