I drum, you drum, we all drum, for I drum!
Hi there... I'm a working musician with 30+ years of drumming experience, doing anything from Broadway shows to bar gigs in New York City, dance companies to corporate gigs, as well as tours in the US and Europe. Over the years I've worked with pop and rock bands, toured with country, blues, and zydeco artists, and played anything from Reggae to Funk to Pop, Rock, Americana, and back again. I recently moved from the hustle and bustle of New York City to an old farmhouse in southern Indiana. My drums are set up, mic'd, and ready to go.
I also produce, do string arrangements, and compose for film. Feel free to contact me and let me know what you need. I'd love to see what we can come up with... Thanks for checking out my profile!
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Interview with Casual-T
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A little bit of this and a little bit of that. There's always something cookin'.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Kurt Thum is an awesome keyboard player and producer who I've shared the stage with on many occasions. Go check him out!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You will always get 100% from me, and I will always do my very best to serve the music.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The opportunity to be creative.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Many people seem to think that simple equals easy... That is not so.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is it you're looking for? Do you have any references for me to listen to? How fast do you need it?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Communication is key.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I studied music in Vienna, moved to NYC, and have been working as a musician for 30+ years. It's been an interesting ride (so far).
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Over the years I've played Pop to Rock, Blues to Country, Broadway to Reggae, Gospel to RnB...
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Holding down the groove.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: That depends on the project, but whatever it is, it'll be the best I can give.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: A discussion with the client as to what is required (style, sound options, recording specs, time frame) - Reference tracks are always appreciated - If required I can provide a short sample to make sure the drum sounds/tuning is appropriate. I'll record the track and make optional revisions according to any feedback received.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My Sonor drums are miced up and ready to go.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Musicians, producers, and engineers who know how to bring out the best in a piece of music.
