Angus Malcolm on SoundBetter

I have 15 years’ experience producing, editing and composing for and alongside artists and filmmakers, such as Joss stone, Damian Marley, Declan Lowney and Goran Stolevski, to name a few. I have also had an eclectic array of releases on a variety of record labels, most notably, Jungle Cakes, 19K, Stone’d Records, Ragtime records.

Classical composition and electronic production have been a constant passion throughout my career, often blended for dramatic effect. With my more contemporary work being featured on last years MARK awards winning library, London Sync Music. My work in film has ranged from sound design, foley work and editing on numerous short films to composing for adverts. My sound has been described as Hans Zimmer meets Camo & Crooked, however I get inspired by a wide variety of styles including, Classical, Jazz, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass, IDM and House.

Any music can be accompanied with stems and sheet music upon request.
I work efficiently, stick to the brief, within the time frame and enjoy any creative challenge that is thrown my way.
