Hi! My name is Marteinn (Martin) and I'm a Berlin based audio engineer.
Originally from Iceland I've done all sorts of jobs in the industry over the years such as;
Live sound,
Recording,
Producing,
TV Broadcast and Post Production.
Currently I specialize in Mixing.

Interview with Marteinn Marteinsson
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love the creativity and making people experience their music in a new way.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been doing audio engineering since I was about 14 years old. I started out with recording demos for my self and friends in my bedroom. I started doing live sound at the age of 16. At 20 I did my diploma in Audio Engineering at the Technical Collage of Reykjavik. Since then I've done a number of jobs mostly in live sound and TV/Radio broadcast for The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service as well as recording and mixing artists on the side.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to find the element that drives the song and focus on making it stand out in the mix. I don't stop until I'm 100% satisfied and I'll spend a long time on the smaller details.
