  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: /brān 'damij/'s second album "Potpourri #2", featuring Derek Sherinian.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: N/A.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Both. Just because.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: It will sound better.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Working with music.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Q: Can you make my instrument louder? A: Is it OK if I lower everyone else?

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: Thinking that everything is about volumes.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: What inspired the song? What are you trying to accomplish with the song?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Trust your instincts and work with whom you feel comfortable.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Piano. Drums. Bass. Guitar. Cello. I'd try to master them all if there were nothing else to do!

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: My first encounter with piano was early in life. My first band in the 90s. Big music sabbatical in the 2000s. Back to recording and producing in the 20s!

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Easy going. Detailed oriented. Goal driven.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: John Williams, so I could dive into his brains.

Mixing & Mastering bundle $125 / song

  • Potpourri #2 feat. Derek Sherinian coming soon!Feb 21, 2022

What a tremendous experience! What started with one song collaboration, ended up being a full EP project. I focused on piano and orchestration, while Derek brought the organs and his unique lead sound, of course. Completely mixed in Dolby Atmos, first time for me, a whole different experience. Can't wait to have this album released. Stay tuned!
