I collaborated on a few projects with O.N.S.

I was pleased with his creative ideas and his overall ability to contribute to each project in a meaningful way. Each contribution was unique and matched the goals of the song. One of the songs I asked for a specific concept and he nailed it 100% correctly.

O.N.S. communicated with me throughout the process. He also delivered a clean warm vocal, sent me stems that I could seamlessly drop into my multitrack/DAW. This is extremely useful for producers like my self who mix. He knows the formula to make his vocal shine!

I absolutely love the music, especially the way the beats and rhythms flow seamlessly together! He undoubtedly is the best songwriter on this platform! His engineering skills are simply incredible; you should definitely book him and no one else! Everything about him is just so raw and perfect—I genuinely mean that! 💯

Interview with O.N.S.

  1. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  2. A: 1.

  3. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  4. A: I would like to work with artists that push me lyrically and challenge me to be even better at creating.

  5. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  6. A: although production is new acquired skill I struggled with the foundational elements to a beat. For years I would wonder why my productions sounded so simple and lacking fullness and body. I need a baseline and a correct way on how to lay one. make sure you have a kick, snare, high hat, bass, main melody, secondary melody, and transition sounds. Ofcourse you can add more than this, but if I knew this from the beginning I wouldn't have produced beats missing one these elements.

  7. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  8. A: Mostly rap & Rob but my penmanship knows no bounds and I can write anything. this all includes T.V. Shows and Screen plays.

  9. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  10. A: my strongest skill would be have to my lyricism and raspy vocal delivery to top that off with my audio engineering skills to ensure that my songs come out exactly the way I hear them in my head. This is what makes me elite level, the fact that I can put whatever I want into the abstract and bring it to fruition. I have total control and can enhance anything bringing it to a superior level.

  11. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  12. A: “What I bring to a song is a combination of deep metaphorical lyricism, emotional storytelling, and polished sonic quality. As a songwriter, I specialize in crafting lyrics that go beyond surface-level themes to explore profound emotions and experiences, ensuring each line resonates with the listener.

  13. Q: What's your typical work process?

  14. A: “My studio workflow is unorthodox, designed to spark creativity and let my artistic energy flow freely. My ideal studio session includes a relaxed, safe environment with just a few select people (I’m not a fan of crowds), a video game console for breaks, and some spicy Jamaican food to keep the vibe alive. I create an atmosphere where experimentation is encouraged, allowing me to push the limits of my lyrical and vocal abilities. I’m not afraid to make weird noises or explore unconventional sounds—this is my time for artistic discovery, growth, and learning new tricks to craft better compositions. The studio is my creative lab, where I’m constantly refining my songwriting, singing, and production to deliver work that’s authentic, bold, and polished for every client I work with.”

  15. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  16. A: For my technical workflow, I use Logic Pro X as my DAW of choice for beat production, songwriting, and engineering, although I’m also proficient with Pro Tools and Ableton Live. I rely on Universal Audio products for interface needs, using the industry-standard Console software to ensure flexibility and premium sound in all stages of production. In my personal studio, I use a W87 microphone for my recordings, and when working with clients in more advanced settings, I rely on the trusted Neumann U87 for pristine vocal capture. Shure headphones are my go-to for reliable monitoring. Every piece of gear is chosen to ensure that the final mix is dynamic, clean, and professional. Whether I’m providing songwriting, mixing, mastering, or beat production services, my goal is always to help artists and producers bring their vision to life with creativity and precision. I’m dedicated to crafting projects that not only sound polished but also connect deeply with listeners. If you’re looking for meticulous attention to detail and a creative partner who values artistic integrity, I’m here to collaborate with you.”

  17. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  18. A: “Artists like J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, NF, Mac Miller, Logic, Joe Budden, and Isaiah Rashad inspire me with their ability to blend raw emotion and storytelling through metaphorical lyricism. On the production side, I’m inspired by the sonic innovation of producers like Dr. Dre, Noah ‘40’ Shebib, and Rick Rubin, who masterfully create soundscapes that elevate the artist’s message. Their dedication to authenticity and detail influences how I approach both lyricism and audio engineering—striving for depth, clarity, and emotional impact in every project I work on.”

  19. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  20. A: “The most common type of work I do for my clients involves crafting metaphorical and thought-provoking lyrics that connect emotionally while telling a story. As an SAE Applied Science in Audio graduate with a strong foundation in audio engineering, I also provide expert-level mixing and mastering services. I specialize in enhancing sonic clarity and dynamics, ensuring that every project—from vocals to full tracks—sounds polished and professional. Whether it’s lyrical composition or fine-tuning a track, I’m committed to delivering high-quality sound tailored to each client’s vision.”
