My goal with mixing and mastering is to take flat, often over-processed mixes and bring the dynamics back to life. We have all kinds of new digital technologies that make this possible. I'm also a huge proponent of the warmth of analogue sound and I have a huge collection of hardware outboard gear (1176, Neve 542, Summit TLA Opto, etc) that can make bedroom mixes sound like classic platinum records. When I mix and master, I combine the best of analogue and digital to create immersive, refreshing, warm 3D mixes.
