Filipe Wesley on SoundBetter

Filipe Wesley has been working as a bass player for 9 years, he learned on his own until he was 17, when he began his studies at the Atelier de la Musique conservatory in São Paulo. In 2016 he joined the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP, taking classes with important bass players such as José Alexandre Carvalho, José Mariano de Campos.

I'm a professional bass player from Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil.
I have a bachelor's degree in electric bass from UNICAMP, state university of Campinas.
I've been working as a musician, bass player and composer for the last 8 years, taking part in so many projects of the most varied musical genres, including brazilian rhythms (samba, ijexá, xote, samba-rock, etc.), prog rock, pop-rock, but mainly samba jazz, jazz fusion and funk/disco, groove, working with both live concerts and studio recordings.
I certainly have the tools I need to deliver a professional bass track for your song.

•How do I usually work:

I am able to work through any type of material (scores, audios, ideas, references).

Depending on your wishes, I can deliver the line and microphone tracks separately and clean (without FX). Or I can also send the two tracks already combined and mixed with some FX ( EQ, comp, effects).

I can make special prices for recording more than one song.

Don't hesitate to ask me any questions, I'm here to work on your project until you meet your expectations.

I'd love to hear about your project, and I'm open to answer to any question!
