I am the owner/operator of Earthtone Recording Company and a member of the Recording Academy (Grammy nomination committee) with over 15 years of experience in recording, mixing, mastering, and production. I also have over 20 years of experience as both a live and session musician primarily focused on guitar, bass, drums, pedal steel, and piano.
As the owner and operator of Earthtone Recording Company, I have been recording, mixing, mastering, and producing albums for over 15 years and have over 800 album credits to my name as of 2021. In 2015, I was voted as Sacramento's best recording studio by Sacramento News and Review Magazine. My roots are in punk rock and metal, but I quickly expanded to all genres of rock as well as pop, indie, folk, country, soul, and world music. As a recording engineer and session musician, I have produced albums for a variety of record labels including but not limited to Kompakt Records, Rise Records, Sargant House Records, Relapse Records, and Profound Lore Records. In 2020, I began editing for popular podcast Let's Not Meet.
I have over 20 years of experience as a guitarist and bassist, and over 15 as a drummer, pianist, and pedal steel player in both live and studio settings. I have extensive regional, national, and international touring experience and have played well over 500 live shows.
