Live and Recording Drummer

Hi! I'm Isaac, and I was a Blue Man for 13 years! I've played drums professionally in NYC since 2009, and recently started recording myself in my Brooklyn studio. I'd like to uplift and highlight your music, and to play appropriately to your song with sensitivity and listening. I’m all about solid support with creative drumming.

From Mississippi, I started playing in 6th grade, and grew up playing snare in marching band. I played in ska and pop-punk bands in high school, as well as at church. In college I played in some cover and improv/jam bands. I went to school for theatre, and moved to NYC in 2006 to be a Blue Man. Found my wife partner at the theatre in 2008, and we’ve been playing together ever since. We have a studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn called Dogtown, and a band/project called Y&I. I'm open to many styles. Indie Alternative is where I usually live, but I'm interested in Country, Experimental, R&B, Chill, Soundtrack, World, and other wacky events. (I am not a Metal or Jazz drummer.)

I currently use Logic with an 8 mic set up in my Brooklyn studio. You’ll get a comp of the best takes in wav or mp3.
