arminwave is a #1 charting music producer from Germany. Besides producing for German industry giants like Apache 207 and Katja Krasavice he also managed to work for U.S. artists such as Lil Duke, NoCap or Earthgang.
My musical journey started with learning classical piano as a child, later on I started producing music and learning guitar. I produced multiple sample packs for the company Cymatics before I changed my focus to working with big industry artists.
Now I'm in love with the process of creating songs and speaking with artists to understand their vision and combine that with my own. My goal is to make your new favorite song of yourself.

Interview with arminwave
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: For me it is the combination of both. Mixing the organic sounds of analog gear and especially real instruments with the sound of digital components makes a production real sexy I think :)
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Creating something new in a space that was empty before is what fascinates me everyday.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Interface, Guitar, Microphone, Speakers. Thats all you need to make a hit haha
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Versatile, with a big love for melodic urban vibes.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Maybe Anuel AA or the french rap duo PNL. The chord progressions I love work very well with those artists and their vocals are super unique and authentic. The way their voices work with autotune is just phenomenal to me.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: I guess learning about chord progressions. I feel like this is the essence of a good song.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My sense of aesthetics I would say. I think it's quite easy for me to know what kind of sounds or chord progressions work well in a song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Having a conversation with my client is always a great start. For me it is important to truly understand the vision of the artist or the company I work for. We speak about different possibilities and exchange examples for what we like and don't like. That is how I can provide the best results and make my clients happy.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly produce instrumentals for my clients. This varies from full custom instrumentals to some guitar recordings that I add to a beat that was sent to me. I also create Audio Logos or branding / advertising music for Companies.
