Hello :). I'm a producer/songwriter that goes by the name Kazwick. After being in a rut creatively with my own artist project, I started to produce and songwrite for my music friends. I really enjoyed that, and since then have been focusing on working with other artists.
Things I can do:
- Producing: I have been producing music for 5+ years. Very comfortable making indie/bedroom pop, rap, and rnb music. Also comfortable making new songs from reference tracks or artists.
- Songwriting: I have been writing songs for 4+ years. I love making catchy melodies, and have a strong background in music theory
- Instruments: I have been playing piano for 15+ years and guitar for 3+ years .
Here are some other beats I uploaded to youtube a while back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0tg3OmeN5Q&list=UU8q1x8b5O9YKsdgObqCRQjA

Kazwick is very personable and professional. Did a great job on my track would highly recommend.
I asked Kazwick to produce a cute indie pop track similar to Clairo's early work. He did a great job, and I was very happy with the results!
Interview with Kazwick
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am currently working on some songs to pitch to video games.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I prefer digital, because it allows me to have a lot of different options all in one place.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love the excitement of it, not knowing exactly what kind of song I'm going to produce today or what project I am going to work on. I also love hearing the final product, and seeing the smile on someones face when their song is finished.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Computer, Microphone, midi keyboard, guitar, and headphones. That's all you really need to make a heater.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started out making a song a day for 1 year. Pushing through all the bad songs I made at first, I started to see good results. 5 years later, I am continuing to refine my production and writing skills.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Dominic Fike. He has amazing range with his voice, and the ability to perform so many styles, it would fun to see what we could come up with.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Backup your files to the cloud! I learned this the hard way lol.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Usually work on pop music of all types.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Creating strong chord progressions, melodies, and supporting them with great sounds and production.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a creative and original approach to production and songwriting, rooted in my love for older music and melodic sensibility.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I commonly produce a song for an artist that matches their description or references.
