Rodney Hall was literally born into the music business. His father was the late legendary Record Producer Rick Hall, the father of the Muscle Shoals Sound and the founder of FAME Recording Studios. Rodney has spent his life learning from legends of the music industry at FAME Studios while building a publishing and production catalog of hits.

Rodney Hall was literally born into the music business. His father was the late legendary Record Producer Rick Hall, the father of the Muscle Shoals Sound and the founder of FAME Recording Studios. Rodney started working at FAME in 1991 working as an assistant engineer and publishing assistant. Since that time he has worked in every aspect of FAME’s business including publishing, administration, production, engineering as well as the marketing and tourism aspects of the historic recording studios. For over 25 years Rodney and his brother Mark have owned and run House of Fame and Fame Publishing. Some of the writers Rodney has signed and worked with include Jason Isbell, James LeBlanc, Russell Smith, Gary Nichols, Tony Colton and Dave Gibson. Over the years Rodney has also worked in the studio on recordings with legendary artists such as Clarence Carter, Candi Staton, Jason Isbell, Steven Tyler, Demi Lovato, Keb Mo, Gregg Allman, the Revivalists and Michael McDonald. Most recently Rodney co-produced the #1 Americana album “Muscle Shoals-Small Town Big Sound” with legendary producer Keith Stegall and Jim "Moose" Brown.
