I am an EDM singer/writer/engineer specializing in Progressive House, and Pop & Rock influenced Electronic music styles. I have 8 songs with over 1 million streams on Spotify, and I do all my own writing, recording, engineering and mixing. Releases have been on Revealed, Lowly, Armada, Soave, Loud Kult, Chill Your Mind, Spectrum, and many more.
I do production work in Ableton and Logic, I have a modest studio with a beautiful view of the city in Downtown Los Angeles where I track instruments and vocals. I can do entire songs myself, write, produce, mix and master, or I am also very strong working in a team with someone. If you need guitar tracks or vocals remotely, I can do that quickly and easily. My voice has a lot of power and emotion, but I can also do a lighter and fun tone when necessary.

Interview with PRYVT RYN
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I did a recent release from VAST called "She Is Murder", I played all the instruments, mixed and mastered it. Also did a track "Ain't Yo Bitch" with Estelle, and have contributed a lot to the discography of a newer artist Iyla
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on EDM vocals constantly, I have a client that is making 70's inspired rock, another client that is making hyperpop influenced songs, and a client making modern R&B mixed with pop
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: A little of both! i think it's great to have a mix of both for tracks.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: What do you want to achieve? Let's do it!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Music is my best friend, we have fun everyday, even when we are working hard.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "Can we change this part?" YES!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I am very diverse and eclectic with my skill set, so communication is key for each project because my influences are very wide
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What artists are we inspired by for our project?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Communication is key, if we can figure out a mutual goal we will reach the finish line
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Ableton, a vocal mic, a guitar, PUSH 2, some kind of drum
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Been working for 25 years, first started professionally with VAST and then got into LA's hip hop and drum'n'bass / electronic scenes
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Melodic
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: When mixing, try turning the volume up or down for your individual tracks before adding a bunch of plugins. sometimes that's all the mix needs.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Electronic Dance and Electronic Rock
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I know music inside and out, but I would say music theory and songwriting are the skills I usually tap into the most with my work
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I really like melody and catchy musical moments for both instruments and vocals.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I work 8-12 hours a day on music for clients and myself.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a great laptop setup with Ableton and Logic and a ton of plugins. I have a live room in Downtown Los Angeles if I need live drums or to get loud
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I enjoy all professional musicians, producers, and artists that are releasing hit songs
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Vocals for dance tracks, guitar and bass work, production and mixing/mastering
