Producer and musician of over 10 years, with production credits to songs with thousands of streams.
Hello!
I'm a producer, audio engineer and session guitarist from Michigan. I specialize in pop punk, bedroom pop and most types of new wave alternative music. I'm also open to working on any rap or hiphop projects, especially when people are trying to work in live instrumentation. I've been pursuing music for more than 10 years and have produced for and recorded with 100s of artists. Let's make a hit.

Interview with Byron Morris
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it makes a lot of money
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: How long have you been doing this? What are some songs you'd like your song to sound like?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Always ask questions! A producer or engineer who doesn't want to answer your questions or doesn't want to talk about the project, more than likely isn't putting their all into your project.

A: MacBook Pro, UAD Apollo Twin X, Shure SM7B, Adam Audio TV7s, Warm Audio Compressor

A: Selling guitars is what I've done thus far aside from my musical journey. I've been pursuing music professionally for 5 years, but I've been working at it for much longer.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: artistic, emotional, and catchy.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with John Feldman one day. He has mixed countless records that I grew up listening to, and inspired me to be the musician I am today.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Take a break if things are starting to blend / the creativity has subsided.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop punk, Alternative Pop, Emo Pop and Indie music primarily. For the first 7 years of my musical journey I was exclusive to hiphop music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Guitar and production.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: A developed writing style, with a special knack for capturing emotional while keeping the song interesting / intriguing.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Well, that's definitely going to depend on the project from the client. Generally I start most song writing / instrumental services with my guitar.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a desk with 6 rack mount spaces for future studio hardware. I'm currently running an Apollo Twin X Duo into a 2020 MacBook Pro and recording on Logic Pro X as my main DAW. I own every UAD plugin along with hundreds of top rated plugins.
