Highly attentive to detail, I will put things in your songs that you wouldn't realize are there unless I pointed it out - what I call "ear candy". I promise it will elevate your track!

Interview with Will Hickl
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: The Weeknd - he's a huge inspiration and I can't get enough of his sound. I appreciate his intentionality with his production team.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: MIDI can often seem too lifeless - always add automation to open filters, bend pitch if it fits, but most importantly give it emotion and movement!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, Rock, Worship, Singer/Songwriter, Indie
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I know my way around my synths and drum machines, and can create a palette of sound appropriate for any track.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Attention to detail that will annoy you. My colleagues are always blown away by what I can hear, and I use that skill to make sure your tracks are edited well. I always use it to fill in the gaps with the "ear candy".
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love Max Martin, Jack Antonoff, Joel Little, and Koz - they have produced some of the biggest hits and I love their sound.
