I'm an expert in playing and programming analog and digital synths, in addition to being an accomplished keyboardist, guitarist & bassist. I'm a member of UK electronic pop band Metronomy, record/produce my own music as NZCA LINES and have recorded and performed with French pop star Christine & The Queens.
I have developed my skills over the course of nearly ten years professionally creating and performing music. As NZCA LINES I have written and produced three studio albums, garnering international press acclaim, extensive UK BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music airplay and millions of streams. As a member of Metronomy I have recorded synths on a UK top 10 album (2014's Love Letters) and toured the globe, performing at festivals such as Glastonbury, Primavera, Montreux and Lollapalooza. As a session musician I performed synths, guitar & bass on Christine & The Queens' UK no. 2 debut record 'Chaleur Humaine', later joining her onstage for several tours and performing again on her 2019 single ‘People, i’ve been sad’.
I have also worked with Photay, VIAA, Couer de Pirate, Charlotte Hatherley, Black Devil Disco Club and Oscar Scheller to name a few. I have remixed tracks by Everything Everything, Au Revoir Simone, Selah Sue and Metronomy.
Now YOU can reap the benefits of my musical odyssey. Working out of Astral Sound studios in Brooklyn, New York, I have an extensive array of analog, digital and modular vintage synths at my fingertips, plus extensive outboard fx ranging from custom rack units to boutique guitar pedals. I will refine and redesign your keyboard parts, either replaying existing parts by hand, via MIDI, or coming up with new sounds and textures to compliment your vision.
