Pleasure working with TrevV. He did an amazing job mixing my Hip Hop track.
The best engineer I ever worked with. He gives pointers to help you sound better too.. he doesn't just sit back and let you struggle.. he steps in and make sure you sound professional. If they ask, just tell them "TreyV made me do it.."
This man is dedicated to his craft. I have been working with TreyV Since 2016, and his work ethic is unmatched. Anyone who considers working with him will be in good hands.
It’s Savdoubleo, some or most know me by savoo as well but I’ve been recording and getting my music mixed and mastered for the last 5 almost 6 years now and his critiquing along with my development has only improved marvelously. I appreciate my guy a lot and am alway enthusiastic to work with him as he is with me and others. I don’t plan on taking my talents any farther I want us to develop together the whole way.

I Am An Artist From Minnesota, And I Go Though A Ton Of Different Engineers, But When I Say I Only Trust Trey To Mix My Work, It’s Nothing But The Absolute Truth, The Quality I Get From Him Is Something I Can’t Get From Anyone Else, And The Sound That Most Engineers Take Days To Get, Trey Gets It In HOURS If Even That. I Recently Did A Joint Album, And He Was The One Behind The Boards On Every Song For GREAT REASONS, Quality Is Easily Matched With The Rest Of The Industry And You Won’t Ever Be Disappointed Working With Someone Who’s Good In This Field, Especially The GOAT Trey!
Trey V is my A1 since day 1 producer! I’ve been working with him since about 2017/ 2018. He’s a phenomenal and talented producer, and he mixed and mastered 11 songs on my debut album Unsent Letters! Trey V is very down to earth and creative. He is also a very good listener and easy to talk to. I am lucky to have him in my life.
TreyV is a mixing and mastering legend! Never have I ever been disappointed in what the man delivers. Truly a staple.
I been working with Treyv since 2019 and through my experience he's always been willing to go the extra mile when it comes to mixing and mastering. He has not disappoint me not once with a mix & he's one of my top recommendations if you want your music to sound professional.
Very patient and open eared about what the artist wants in his or her sound and does really well to emulate that vision. The professionalism and speed is top notch and up to date with all plugins which is almost a must to keep up with forever changing sounds in the music sphere !
I’ve worked with TreyV for a few years and a few things I can appreciate about his work are the dedication to quality and his consistency!
Interview with TreyV
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm especially proud of an upcoming album with the artist Morray. I've recoded most of the tracks on the album while my mentor Brandon has mixed all the songs.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on a few different artist albums and some great gaming companies!
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I'd recommend another great mixing engineer by the name of Zach Steele
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. They have their own characters of warmth and brightness.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To deliver the most qualified and professional mixing experience to you.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love hearing music and loving what i hear! It's much more fun when I love the music I'm working on.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Common Questions: What do I need send to you? Send all audio files that you've decided to keep within your project and would like it to be mixed. How long does mixing take: Usually I can have a mix to you between 48 hours. How many revisions can I get? If it's dealing with mix edits, I'm completely fine with going till the job is done! Otherwise, if you're sending me new files, I'd have to charge you for that.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That us engineers can completly make you sound like your favorite artist. Though there's some facts within that statement, we can change the original timbre of your voice entirely.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What music do you listen to? Is there any songs you'd like me to reference? Would you like your song to be modernized in loudness?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please be prepared with all the proper files you'd like included within your session.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I'd take..My hard-drive, Avalon 747, laptop, M50x Headphones and my Apollo twin duo.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My career path has always been extremely clear to me since the age of 13. It was at that age where I knew I wanted to be a music producer and a person who was surrounded by the altercations of audio manipulation.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is very subtle but noticeable and effective.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with Chris Brown and Gunna because I feel they are very versatile with their creations.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: One music production tip is.. Be creative then eliminate sounds that don't need to be there!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: HipHop & RnB is my specialty.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is brining the vocals of songs to be very blended within the creativity of the project.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: My goal for every song I mix is to enhance the remembrance of a song through finite mix details such as adding delays, reverbs, pitch effects, beat drops, breaks etc.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Usually my mixing process is first listening to the reference mix or rough mix of the song, then I move onto editing and organizing the session files I receive from the project. Once organizing is done I move onto vocal tunings or drum specific timing edits. Finally after audio files are nicely shifted within session, I move onto mixing the loudest part of the song (example the chorus). I essentially work backwards to allow my self more dynamic room. Each section of the song is carefully crafted to allow specific mix variations.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I'm fully in the box (Digital) when mixing from my home studio. Otherwise, I'm very experienced with mixing on analog boards and utilizing great outboard gears as such as Distressors, 1176, LA-2A, Shadow Hills compressor and many more hardwares.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired by music producers like Cardo and Metro Boomin. My favorite mixing engineer is Jaycen Joshua.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I'm usually engineering studio sessions then later doing professional mixing for their recorded track.
