Zeph Park on SoundBetter

Hey! I'm Zeph. I'm a pop producer from Los Angeles. I specialize in clean, catchy pop production. The music I've worked on has reached over 2 million streams and I have credits with Z100 FM, CBS, and Alexa Cappelli. Let's take your song to the next level!

As a producer, I want the vision you have in your head to come to life, and until that vision is made clear I'll keep working on your song. Far too often I meet artists with a disconnect between their current sound and what they desire to sound like. I make it my personal goal to make sure your song sounds as good as your favorite records.

The artist always comes first for me, so there is no room at the table for an ego. I'll make sure you sound the best you can and will always prioritize presenting you and the song in a positive light. If you sound good, we all sound good!

I absolutely love the track that Zeph and I worked on together. He delivered exactly what I was hoping for. He is extremely talented, and was able to take my direction and inspiration and deliver something new and exciting. I look forward to working with Zeph again!

Zeph Park is an incredible producer with an ear for talent. I first contacted Zeph about a year ago to work with my artist and he couldn’t have been more excited to work with new people. He is so kind and respectful when it comes to the artist’s vision, and helps the artist through their creative process. I can’t recommend Zeph enough, I would give 10 stars if I could.

Zeph is easily one of my favourite people to work with! He cares so deeply about the music and the artists he works with and goes above and beyond to make the best tracks possible. He’s always up for trying crazy ideas and will work with you until it’s perfect. He’s fun to work with and, most importantly, he’s great at what he does!

Zeph is one of the most talented, down to earth, inspiring people ive ever met. Not only does he capture the way you want your songs to sound, but he captures the emotion and the feeling you want it to give off too. His dedication to give you exactly what you want and hear is one thing, but he exceeds those expectations as well. Most talented guy i know. work with zeph, i’m telling ya. it’s an honor to work with him.

Zeph is such a pleasure to work with. He immediately made me feel comfortable to fully work with him and he was as passionate in my project as much as I was. He works with great precision to make sure your project is sounding right, super supportive of you as an artist and he's very timely as well. 11/10 would recommend this talented man.

Zeph and I worked together for 3 years and he was an absolutely incredible producer! Not only is he talented, efficient, and intuitive, he also has a real knack for making people feel comfortable around him. It was easy to be vulnerable, creative, and open minded during sessions. If I told him I wanted a “beep bop” right at this part of the song, he somehow knew what I meant and made it sound exactly how I wanted. He also wasn’t afraid to tell me when my ideas were a bit too outlandish (in hindsight, he was always right). I highly recommend working with Zeph!

Best dude out there. A full collaborator who’s not afraid to push the boundaries of possibility. I’ve been working with Zeph for a while and I’ve never been disappointed with anything we’ve ever released.

Interview with Zeph Park

  1. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  2. A: Nothing is more satisfying than when the artist loves the song. Streams and big numbers are cool, but the best part is when the artist says "I love it!"

  3. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  4. A: The relationship comes first for me! Let's hop on a zoom call or grab coffee.

  5. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  6. A: This is a silly question I'd just bring an unlimited supply of bagels.

  7. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  8. A: I started my career as the front man and producer of a pop punk band in 2014. It quickly evolved into indie pop, and soon after I realized how much better the music could be if I were collaborating with other vocalists and writers. So here we are!

  9. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  10. A: The artist that I relate with on an emotional level most deeply.

  11. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  12. A: If it sounds good, it is good!

  13. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  14. A: Playing keys for sure. I'm classically trained and have a deep love for the instrument and the intricacies it can bring to a simple pop record.

  15. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  16. A: I have a home studio in Santa Monica. It's treated well and has way too many synths!

  17. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  18. A: I have grown up striving to be like Benny Blanco, but more recently been inspired by the likes of Ian Kirkpatrick and Andrew Goldstein.

  19. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  20. A: I tend to be at my best when going for that Dua Lipa & Katie Perry style of commercial pop, but also lean into the sad indie pop style similar to LANY, Lauv, or Jeremy Zucker from time to time!
