Interview with Daisy
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup includes my laptop with Ableton Live 9 Suite or Logic Pro X open, with a small midi keyboard or my AKAI MPK249 next to my desk ready to record live MIDI tracks, my sE Condenser microphone with a reflection filter board behind it, and my Rokit monitor speakers on the desk.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: - Brian Eno - Jon Hopkins - Claptone - Daft Punk
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most common is performing on a track or writing something for someone.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a very classic mix to tracks. I know about frequencies, so I know where things should be or like to sit with my ears. I have lots of funk, soul, house, pop, and deep bass inspirations and vibes within when I write and produce.
