I am here to bring your ideas to life! One of my favorite collaborative ways to work is taking existing ideas and forming them into a banger -- whether it's a melody idea you have, basic lyrics, or just a few chords, I specialize in synthesizing those ideas into a radio-ready track.
I am a freelance songwriter, session guitarist/pianist, and producer. My favorite genres to work in are pop, RnB, and intimate acoustic ballads. However, I am open to any style! If you are needing assistance with sound selection for production, I'm your guy. If you've hit a writer's block on lyrics, I'm your guy. If you know you've got some catchy chords but you just can't find the right vocal melody to pair with them...I'm your guy! I love the collaborative process and can't wait to work together.
I have worked with artists such as Paris Williams, Sam Wells, Raine Stern, Riq, AY Young, Bloom Allen, among many others. You can count on prompt communication and hitting deadlines with me. Let's make something great!

Interview with Brad Girard
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Unique and catchy
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't work on one song for too long! You will wear out your ears and mind; work for a few hours then take breaks or come back to it with fresh ears the next day.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Songwriting
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Fresh concepts, interesting lyric ideas, hooky melodies, and unique instrumentation.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to start with a chord progression and hum along a melody without thinking about lyrics. Then I will add variations into the melody for different song sections, and finally add lyrics towards the end.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am inspired by the pop songwriting heavyweights like Max Martin, Ryan Tedder, and Dan Nigro to name a few.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The most common work I do is arranging/formatting ideas and chord progressions into a pop structure. I try to find something interesting about the lyrical content and formulate a good hook.
