Kamran

EDM & Pop Producer

Kamran on SoundBetter

My mission is simple: turn your ideas into music that feels real, modern, and unforgettable.

I’m a music producer, songwriter, composer, and mixing engineer with 10+ years of experience working across Pop, EDM, Hip-Hop, and Film Scoring. Music has always been at the core of who I am, and over the years I’ve helped artists and creators transform raw ideas into finished records that are emotionally strong, sonically polished, and release-ready.

As a Pop & EDM producer, I put heavy emphasis on melody, groove, and sound design—making sure every track connects with listeners while still sounding current and competitive. I stay deeply involved in the creative process, from the very first chord or lyric to the final mix, so the end result feels intentional, not overproduced.

What I Do

- Full song & beat production (from scratch or from rough ideas)
- Songwriting & composition (Pop, EDM, Hip-Hop, cinematic)
- Mixing & mastering with modern, radio-ready sound
- Film scoring & music for visual content
- Arrangement, and creative direction

My background as a composer gives me a strong sense of storytelling, whether I’m creating a song or music. At the same time, my work as a mixing engineer ensures that every track is clean, balanced, and ready for all major platforms without losing its emotion or energy.

Interview with Kamran

  1. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  2. A: A common misconception about me is that my work is purely electronic. In reality, I’m deeply focused on blending organic elements, texture, and emotion into my productions to make them feel human, immersive, and alive.

  3. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  4. A: What genres and music styles do you like the most and how do you want me to approach?

  5. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  6. A: Be clear about the emotion and direction you want, but stay open to experimentation. Share references you love, trust the creative process, and communicate honestly through feedback. The best results happen when collaboration feels flexible and creative, not rushed or over-controlled.

  7. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  8. A: Laptop, FL STUDIO in it, a small MIDI keyboard, trustworthy studio headphones, and an external SSD.

  9. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  10. A: Both Analog and Digital have their own pros and cons but in my opinion, I think digital is getting better than analog because you can create sounds and do the things that you couldn't imagine doing on Analog.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: When you love what you do, you tend to feel a sense of purpose and belonging.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: The most common question that I hear from customers is "Can you make this genre?" and "Can you send me a demo?"

  15. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  16. A: Make music that you want to listen to on repeat and be proud of that. Also, don't refrain from doing experiments.

  17. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  18. A: Emotions and Feelings of being in a different world.

  19. Q: What's your typical work process?

  20. A: My work process is the same as that of other artists. Composing, directing the idea from the mind into the DAW and going with the flow.

  21. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  22. A: One project I’m especially proud of was developing an indie-electronic track from a simple melodic idea into a fully realized, cinematic production. My role covered the entire creative process composition, sound design, arrangement, and final production. What made it special was the amount of experimentation involved, blending organic textures with electronic elements to create an emotional, immersive sound world. It pushed me creatively and helped define the direction I want my music to live in.

  23. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  24. A: At the moment, I’m developing new pop and indie-electronic productions focused on melodic depth, organic textures, and cinematic atmosphere. I’m experimenting with sound design and arrangement while refining a personal sonic palette that feels emotional, modern, and immersive.

  25. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  26. A: I recently joined soundbetter so I don't think right now I know anybody.

  27. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  28. A: Quality and Professionalism.

  29. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  30. A: My studio setup is focused entirely on in-the-box production, composition, and mixing for pop, electronic, and cinematic music. I work in a fully digital workflow optimized for sound design, melodic arrangement, and detailed automation. The setup is built around accurate monitoring and a carefully curated collection of software instruments, synths, and effects, allowing me to craft modern, emotional, and polished tracks efficiently.

  31. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  32. A: My career path has been shaped by a deep interest in music production and sound experimentation. I started producing independently, exploring electronic, pop, and cinematic styles, and gradually built my skills through consistent practice, collaborations, and real-world projects. I’ve been actively producing music for several years now, focusing on developing a distinct sound that blends melody, emotion, and organic elements with modern electronic production.

  33. Q: How would you describe your style?

  34. A: Authentic and Versatile

  35. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  36. A: I’d love to work with Ben Böhmer, Mokita, and Charlie Puth because they blend emotion, strong melodies, and thoughtful sound design. Their ability to experiment while keeping the music honest and memorable aligns closely with how I like to create and push sonic boundaries.

  37. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  38. A: EDM, Hip Hop, Lofi, Cinematic, Pop, Modern Pop And Trap

  39. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  40. A: My strongest skill is experimenting with sound and blending organic elements with modern electronic production. I’m especially good at creating unique textures, evolving atmospheres, and emotionally rich sound palettes that make a track feel alive and distinctive.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: I’m inspired by artists and producers who focus on emotion, atmosphere, and subtle groove. Ben Böhmer is a big influence for his ability to blend deep, melodic electronic music with cinematic textures. I’m also inspired by indie pop and electronic artists like LANY, The 1975, and RÜFÜS DU SOL, who balance intimacy, strong songwriting, and modern production. Their approach to mood, space, and storytelling strongly influences how I build pop, EDM, and cinematic productions.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: Most of my work focuses on pop, EDM, and cinematic production. I create custom beats and full productions that are melodic, emotionally engaging, and high-energy, built around strong hooks and modern sound design. I help clients develop ideas from scratch or transform rough demos into polished, release-ready tracks, handling everything from composition and arrangement to sound design, vocal-ready mixes, and final polish. My goal is always to deliver music that feels cinematic, impactful, and current while staying true to the artist’s vision.
