"Tasty" bass player with 15+ years of professional experience in the music industry both touring and recording all genres and styles. I am here to Serve the Song and add Feel and Groove to your recording
Howdy! My name is Adrian "Ace" Engfer and I've been a sought after bass player, songwriter and vocalist in the Colorado Music Scene since moving to Boulder in 2008. I've been a part of multiple studio recordings with my main touring act Grant Farm since 2012 as well as several side recording sessions with artists from Colorado and Nashville. My main instrument is the bass (both electric and upright) followed by the acoustic guitar and electric guitar but I also play piano, mandolin and violin.
I have extensive studio experience going back to early recordings in 2005 & 2006 in Los Angeles with Marc Greene in The Greene Room a well-renowned and respected studio in Van Nuys, CA. These sessions were instrumental in learning how to perform effectively and efficiently in the studio while still capturing the feel and magic that each song requires.
Feel free to contact me with any questions. Here's a Spotify playlist with some of my recording credits: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7HD3Izkkz6Dpy540KIP9ji?si=4cd38470beb744cc
