Blaine Misner is a Washington DC based Recording/Mixing Engineer specializing in Studio and Location recording. Equally at home recording squalling feedback with punk rock royalty as he is on an orchestral session with members of the National Symphony Orchestra.
I would best describe myself musically as a bit of quilt-work. I attended the conservatory as a classical trumpet player, while at the same time touring as a guitar player in a number of rock bands. Engineering is my passion and what I've devoted the last 12 years of my life to, the last 8 being on staff at the legendary Cue Recording in Virginia. I've worked on thousands of records by all types of artists, but my favourite records are the ones made by bands on a shoestring budget. Hell, i grew up in the DC punk community. DIY!
