I am a professional studio/touring bassist. I've toured and recorded with blues/rock guitarist and 5-time Grammy nominee Robben Ford, 10 time Grammy winning trumpet virtuoso Arturo Sandoval, funk icons Tower Of Power, and blues great Chris Cain.
I'm currently the bassist for Tommy Igoe's Groove Conspiracy and The Ray Charles Project. My first solo release entitled Melting Pot featured artists such as Andy Narell, Dennis Chambers, Robben Ford, and Johnny Hiland. I'm currently working on my second solo release due out in 2022.
Anyone who's been to the San Francisco Bay Area knows what a true musical melting pot it is, and I've been blessed to be part of projects that range from country to blues to funk to jazz to latin and everything in between.

Saw Dewayne last night with Matt Schofield at Yoshi’s, Oakland and he was killing it! Monster bassist with incredible chops, soul and creativity!
I also play bass (Bay Area semiprofessional soul and R&B band for over 20 years) and have had the pleasure of seeing Dewayne perform twice with Matt Schofield. Dwayne is an outstanding highly creative tasteful bassist who is always completely in the pocket rock solid and funky. His sense of timing, energy, tone and chops are outstanding. Plus he obviously highly enjoys playing with other gifted musicians.
