Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Send me a DM firstly, we will review and check together the viability of your project.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: GAIN STAGING YOUR MIX: When mixing, we’re often tempted to go on the mastering process via our favorite plugins. Unfortunately, a good mix requires a few steps of which is gain staging. Gain staging permit to level all the tracks in a session in order to adjust the whole mix level. So there are the steps to do a correct gain staging: - Export all your tracks in a new session - Insert in each of these a gain plugin and a VU meter on your master channel - Level your tracks to obtain -18 Dbfs in the VU meter (e. g. : if the level of kick track is -7.3 dBFS, try to reduce to -10.7 dBFS the volume on gain plugin) Keep in mind that gain staging will also allow you to gain headroom when time comes to master the session. This step is really important for a good workflow and a good mix.
