● Whats exactly the difference between Mix and Master?
⮕ The Mixing stage occurs before the mastering stage. It is mainly in charge of making each element sound correctly, applying processes such as equalization, compression, saturation, reverb, etc. Finally all the elements are mixed together, resulting in the "premaster".
⮕The Mastering stage occurs after the mixing stage. It is primarily responsible for making the overall track sound correct and achieve a competitive commercial level. In this stage equalization, saturation, multiband compression, limiting and other processes are applied to the premaster.

Interview with Joaquin Pillado
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise i will do everything in my power to get the track ready for release.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on dance music, like techhouse, house, techno, trance, etc. But i can do a great job mixing and mastering other genres.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I will listen carefully to the track, taking note of those things I need to correct. Then I will take care of planning the work taking into account the author's vision. I will start with the treatment of each individual instrument to finally unite them and achieve a nice mix as a whole. Finally I will master the track without losing the dynamics, and achieving a commercially competitive volume, suitable for all digital platforms and for playback on any equipment.
