Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I did the theme song and Pitch for a movie called Reston Lights. This project really touch me, because It is about a young girl that falls victim to her own dreams and naivety. In her quest to be a model, she meets a man on the internet who claims he can help her, but instead he kidnaps her.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Just about anything you can imagine...I have several projects in the mixing bowl as we speak.

A: To become their voice. I don't run a sweat shop pumping out generic music. I cater to each clients individuality and make the song theirs!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I get to do what I love. If I could sit in a bubble and write all day I would. Well I kinda do that already LOL.

A: They always say "Meccah, how do you do it?" Honestly, writing is just like breathing for me :)

A: That its a Hobby. Many people who know me personally expect me to just give away free songs, they don't understand though I enjoy creating music, it's also my bread and butter!

A: I been in the business almost 20 years. I began writing songs when I was 11 and did my 1st major tour when I was 15.

A: I would love to work with Royce The 5 9, he is an amazing lyricist.

A: Set Trends, don't follow them!!!

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I would say my personal rap style is a combination of being lyrically aggressive, street, hardcore yet innovative.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hiphop, Trap, Rap, R & B, New School and occasionally Rock.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When doing a feature on another artist's or producer's record I typically begin with the concept of the song and then develop a flow pattern to the instrumental. Next I begin the writing process. When ghostwriting I use a similar process by beginning with the song concept and flow pattern. But whats different is that I cater the lyrics and rhythmic flow to the particular artist that Im writing for. I usually achieve this by analyzing previous recordings by the artist or by collecting creative input from them in person or via Skype, FaceTime ect.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio setup consists of a Rhodes NTK Tube Condenser mic, Clearsonic IsoPac F Vocal Booth, Avalon M5 Microphone Preamp, Apogee Quartet, Logic Pro X Recording Software and Adam AX7 Monitors.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am highly inspired by the legendary artists of Hiphop music, such as Nas, Jay-Z, Scarface, UGK, Outkast, Tupac, Biggie, Rass Kass, Royce The 5'9, Eminem and so many others. As far as music production goes, I would say my favorite producers are of legendary status as well. Dr. Dre, D.J. Premier, Kanye West, Timbaland, Mannie Fresh, D.J. Toomp, The Alchemist, J Dilla, & The RZA just to name a few.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: The majority of my work for clients consists of Rap collaboration features and Ghostwriting.
