London-based producer & mixer – my work's been placed in TV shows on Amazon, BBC, Hulu & Channel 4 as well as Spotify playlists
To me, a song should have a reason to exist. It should be unique. It should be an experience that no-one has ever had before, and you can't get anywhere else. Otherwise what's the point?
Every production I work on I strive to endow with these qualities. I am a lifelong obsessive of chasing these moments of magic that are all too rare in this world.
If you have a song idea or demo you are passionate about, get in touch - let's talk and see if we can make something special together.

Endorse Alex LindnerI've had the opportunity to work with Alex on a couple tracks and he has some of the best qualities you can find in an artistic collaboration: talent, dedication, attention to detail, creativity, expertise, respect for the craft. The process was very thorough, not only did he understand the song (and lyrics), he also wanted to make sure he captured the direction I wanted to follow and basically used his skills to get there. Highly recommended
Alex has produced and mixed a number of tracks for me and im super happy with each of them. He's very easy to work with because he takes time to understand your vision, then works to execute and enhance it way quicker than you ever could. As a bonus I've also learnt loads about mixing and production from Alex, meaning I'm getting my demos much further along before bringing them to him
Interview with Alex Lindner
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio room has great sonic treatment & I make minor EQ adjustments to my output using Sonarworks. I use Genelec monitors combined with an Adam sub, & also use the hallowed Auratone Soundcubes as reference speakers which is a massive help for my mix workflow. My mix approach brings the best of the new & old: the laser-like precision & control of modern plugins by Fabfilter & Sonnox, combined with the state of the art emulation of analogue classics by UAD who bring £10,000 tape machines into your laptop for warmth & character makes for a killer combo.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For any song, EP or album I work on, the process is normally very collaborative with the artist. Communication is the foundation of this process: we exchange references to give ideas of the world we want to create. If the performances from the artist’s demo are strong enough they will be used as a foundation from which the rest of the track will be built. Otherwise I'll create the track inspired by the artist's demo – the artist will then sing over this, & we'll work together to create the finished record.
