Her current vocal style is a mesh of different genres that include: MUSE, LORDE, LANA DEL RAY, MARIAH CAREY, IGGY AZALEA & GWEN STEFANI.
STYLE & WORK:
Julie reaches outside of the box for song writing & vocals.
If it's been done before or said before, she'd rather rewrite it, & re configure it for execution, rather than do what has been done already.
She is completely herself and is a strong writer who loves getting creative and using unusual vocal layers, sounds & words to add interest in songs. Two of Julie's strongest skills include her ear for pitch (requires little (rare) to no pitch correction when singing) and her creative song writing.
Julie can hit high notes like Mariah and low notes like Lana Del Ray and most everything between.
She is professional and uses two local studios to record and has access whenever she needs it.
Julie appreciates transparency and likes to follow the expectations set by the producer. Once expectations are set, she enjoys freedom and creativity to write. In other instances, when lyrics are given, she has the ability to get creative and go above and beyond expectations with a fresh twist & outlook. Julie appreciates and thrives from constructive criticism since this allows her to become a better singer and person. She enjoys keeping communication open and honest.
