Endorse Le'DominiqueLe’Dominique is a gem of a creative! I would say that some of his biggest strengths are his abilities to add unique input and always deliver as a producer, vocal producer, and instrumentalist. His musical taste is very eclectic and it shows in his work. When he records people, he knows what you want without you having to explain it. His creative intuition is unmatched. He also mixes and masters all the songs we have made, and is great at top lining melodies as well! We have worked on multiple projects together and i am always satisfied with the final product! I'm so grateful!!
Interview with Le'Dominique
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: ANALOG! that warmth just can't be replicated.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I quit my job as a merchandiser to get into production back in early 2017 and bought a computer to learn how to produce, after begging people to come record at my house for a year I found myself in a studio in Hollywood as an intern and worked my way to engineer. Then I met my mentor who is big in the industry and learned everything i could from him in the 2 years i worked for him before opening up my studio in 2020.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't worry about being in the red! this used to hold me back a lot and once I learned how to use "clipping" to my advantage my production have gotten better... and SAVE!
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skills would have to be producing (making beats, vocal producing, etc.) and vocal engineering.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I have consistently realized with my clients that I always bring the best out of them when recording and suggest ideas that help take tracks to the next level.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: when working with a new client in person I love to get to know them and chat before we start, that way I can better understand where they come from and how to approach the session. During the session I work as efficiently as possible to ensure everything runs smooth. When working with clients remotely I always make sure to be transparent about the whole process, updating them every step of the way and sending the most recent version of the record being worked after every session.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Just over a year ago I built my recording studio and have made it the place to be for artists looking for a professional yet comfortable environment to create. My equipment is top notch and I always have snacks and drinks to ensure you never have to leave.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I work with a lot of Hip-Hop, R&B and female artists doing everything from production, recording and mix and mastering, in the past I have worked with pop, country, reggae, afro and rock as well!
