Interview with Inzenze

  1. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  2. A: My advice is to keep grinding, to learn from those which more experience than them. Never be prideful. Pride is always dangerous and will stop you from improving.

  3. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  4. A: I composed, produced, mixed and mastered my recent album "Endless Journey". I like having control over everything in the record making process

  5. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  6. A: I'm working on two electronic music albums.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: In my case I go for digital because I can find most of my tools inside my imac.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: Professional competitive sound guaranteed.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Helping my clients to achieve their desired sound.

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: That it only takes a computer to get the job done. Is true that most of the tools you need to get a professional sound can be found inside your computer, but to find your own mixing/mastering method takes years to polish.

  15. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  16. A: A gamer laptop, my audient 2i4, my sony mdr-7506 headphones, a big solar battery power bank and a ssd 2TB rugged hardrive for backup.

  17. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  18. A: I have been producing for 9 years, first 3 I consider them training and I started releasing my music in 2020.

  19. Q: How would you describe your style?

  20. A: Unorthodox. If a particular sound works great on a track I use it, doesn't matter if it is uncommon on a specific music genre or not.

  21. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  22. A: I would like to work with Apashe in a trap/dubstep project and with David Guetta on a new EDM/House track.

  23. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  24. A: The first sound you choose to work with matters the most. That will define the nature of the track. If you want to make something bold do not start with something soft, it will naturally drag you away from your initial idea.

  25. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  26. A: I usually work on EDM, progressive house, electro pop and Trap. I compose, produce, mix and master my own tracks.

  27. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  28. A: Understanding the music genre of the track and then producing a mix/master that is coherent to it.

  29. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  30. A: Professional clarity and loudness. My client's music competes against any pro artist an all streaming platforms.

  31. Q: What's your typical work process?

  32. A: I start mixing the vocals and then I start mixing everything else around them. The final result depends a lot on the nature of the track of course.

  33. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  34. A: I work with my Audient 2i4 and my Imac 5K, I monitor with 2 Yamaha HS8 and the Sony MDR-7506. I use plugins from Plugin Alliance, Waves, oeksound, SIR Audio Tools, Slate Digital, Valhalla DSP, Antares, Cymatics, Izotope and Universal Audio.

  35. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  36. A: My favorite artists are Apashe, David Guetta, OneRepublic, GRiZ, Kendrick Lamar and Joyner Lucas.

  37. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  38. A: I usually do mixing and mastering for EDM, House, Techno and Trap.
