  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I previously worked on a song by our band The Black Avenue called I Don't Get It, which I spent 6 months mixing and mastering. It turned out well and quickly became the most-listened-to song on our YouTube page. I am the band's guitarist and sound engineer/producer at the moment.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I'm now working on a project that my band and I created. Due to the members' availability, the song will be released this year.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Although I don't know many individuals on this site, there are some interesting suppliers out there that specialize in different kinds of genres outside rock.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital plugins have always been a convenience for me, making it easy to utilize and establish presets for each tune.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I pledge to utilize the best of my abilities at a cheap cost and to deliver on time or early.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I enjoy music in general, and I really enjoy it when songs join together to make a beautiful work of art.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Most people ask me whether I can mix outside of my genre, and I always want to do my best and give the product.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: They may offer a recording session which I do not offer just yet.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: I ask what they require, what genre they want to pursue, and what aspects of their songs need to be improved.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Do your research! There may be other providers out there who is willing to work for the same quality with a lower price.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: A guitar, cellphone, water bottle, laptop, and a knife

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: My ambition is to work as a music producer and sound engineer. I've been mixing and mastering for my band for four years and would want to share my knowledge with anyone who is willing to try.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: My mixing and recording technique has always been traditional with a contemporary twist. I like how the guitar, drums, and bass all come in simultaneously with minimal to no effects.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Foo Fighters have been my idol since forever. Their genre and style of recording fits very well with my skills and I would love to work with them someday.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Listen to more music

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I mostly work in the genres of Rock, Pop Rock, Alternate Rock, and Heavy Rock. For many years, I produced and mixed music for my band, whose primary genre was rock.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Instrument blending is one of my best abilities. As a guitarist, I've recorded several songs and enhanced my guitar tone and quality by employing mixing methods I've learned over the years. Vocals have also been a strong talent for me, as I was able to tune and timing the vocals and let them sit in the mix.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I give a song clarity, space, and volume. These three elements contribute to a song's ambiance and, as a result, improve the listening experience.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I prefer to work for 2 hours on each project, beginning with listening to the raw audio for 20 minutes for ideas before beginning to work on it and adding my thoughts to the mix.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: My studio setup consists of a basic high-end PC, a Focusrite Scalett 2i2 3rd generation audio interface, Audio Technica ATH-M30x headphones, and a pair of incredible ears.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: The Foo Fighters had a huge impact on me and helped shape the way I mix now. Their mix is incredible, and I'm amazed at how loud their sound can be.

  44. A: The majority of the work I perform for customers is mixing and mastering their songs, as well as making them sound better in general.
