Former Hollerado songwriter and guitar player, now producing, writing and mixing for other artists. Production and writing credits include Hollerado, Dizzy, Anyway Gang, Deanna Petcoff, Bike Thiefs, "A Little Bit Alexis" (from Emmy-Award winning television show Schitt's Creek), and many more. I specialize in songwriting and production.
Hello! I am a Juno-nominated artist, songwriter and producer living in Toronto, Canada. I operate out of Banquet Sound, my studio in the West end of the city, where I work with artists from across the country.
I have been writing critically and commercially successful music for fifteen years, and I share that songwriting experience with the artists I work with. The result is songs that are expressive, hard-hitting, and which take every idea to its fullest potential.
Because of my creative, song-serving approach to production, I keep my studio stocked with world-class gear. Vintage drums, guitars, amplifiers, drum machines, synthesizers, keyboards and effects are all equally important, as there is no telling what sound is going to suit the message and tone of a song.
Besides working in-person in the studio, I also connect with artists on-line, workshopping their songs over zoom, and producing full tracks remotely.
Almost all of the songs I have worked on have enjoyed either high rotation on alternative and rock radio, or have been featured on major playlists on streaming services. I aim for results like this with every artist I work with!

Endorse Nixon BoydWe loved working with Nixon on our song Lost in You. He helped us songwrite, produce and mix the song. We worked together to develop a more unified and strong version of this folk-pop track. Listening back to the before & after, we're super happy we had his professional advice! A skilled songwriter and a great person to work with!
