Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: One project I'm particularly proud of is Giggs' Landlord album, where I produced both Whippin Excursion and The Blow Back featuring Stormzy. Whippin Excursion served as the lead single for the project, and Landlord became Giggs' highest-charting album at the time. It was a significant milestone in my career and an opportunity to contribute to one of the defining UK rap albums of its era.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm currently working with a range of independent and emerging artists across rap, drill and hip-hop, helping develop records that are ready for commercial release and streaming platforms.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. Modern digital tools provide incredible flexibility, efficiency and sound quality while allowing me to work quickly and collaborate with artists worldwide.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I treat every project with the same level of professionalism and attention to detail that I bring to major label releases. My goal is always to deliver music that exceeds expectations and helps move an artist's career forward.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I enjoy helping artists create something they're genuinely excited about. Seeing an idea evolve from a simple concept into a finished record never gets old.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: The most common question is whether I can produce around existing vocals or demos. The answer is yes. Many of my projects begin with rough ideas, and I enjoy helping artists turn those concepts into fully realised records.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Many people think music production is simply making beats. In reality, production often involves arrangement, creative direction, problem solving and helping artists bring the best version of their ideas to life.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I usually ask about their artistic vision, target audience, musical influences, reference tracks and long-term goals for the project. Understanding where an artist wants to go is essential to creating the right production.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Look beyond the beat itself. Find someone who understands records, arrangements and artist development. Experience working on commercially released music can make a significant difference to the final result.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: 've been producing music professionally for over a decade. During that time I've contributed to 6 UK Top 10 albums, with 5 achieving Gold certification, and worked with artists across both the UK and US markets including Central Cee, Giggs, Skepta, Kodak Black, Digga D, Potter Payper, Ace Hood and many more.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style combines hard-hitting drums, memorable melodies and clean arrangements with a strong focus on the artist. I aim to create music that feels modern, impactful and commercially competitive without sacrificing originality.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with Drake. His ability to evolve while remaining commercially relevant for over a decade is remarkable, and his versatility creates opportunities for many different production styles.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always prioritise the artist. Great production isn't about adding more sounds; it's about creating space for the artist to deliver their best performance. Simplicity and strong musical decisions will usually outperform complexity.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: primarily work within UK Rap, Drill, Trap, Hip-Hop and contemporary Urban music. My credits include artists such as Central Cee, Giggs, Skepta, Stormzy, Kodak Black, Digga D, K Trap, Potter Payper, Tierra Whack and Ace Hood.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is creating records that balance creativity with commercial appeal. I understand how to build production that supports an artist's performance while maintaining a strong identity and competitive sound.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Beyond creating a beat, I bring experience, arrangement, musical direction and an understanding of what makes records connect with listeners. Having worked on major label and charting releases, I focus on creating songs that feel complete rather than simply providing instrumentals.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Every project starts with understanding the artist's vision, influences and goals. From there I develop the production, arrangement and overall sound of the record. Throughout the process I work closely with the client to ensure the final product reflects their identity while maintaining a professional, industry-standard quality.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I specialise in full song production, custom instrumentals, artist development and creative direction for rap, drill, trap and hip-hop artists. Whether a client has a rough vocal, demo or just an idea, I help turn it into a commercially competitive record ready for release.
