I had a great experience working with Cease Fire. The rapper did a good job in getting the rap spot on and what I like the most was the great and constant communication that was given.

I had a vision and Cease Fire Productions made it a reality. Now my reality will elevate to new heights. Braden is very professional, quality of work is amazing, handles assignments fast, and is a great communicator/problem solver. Overall grade, A+++

You see folks. In order to mix a Hip Hop track you got to have the ear for it. Everybody & their mama can do 808's/fast hats & that's cool. But I'm talking bout that good ol classic sound. This guy right here gets it. But none of this means anything without communication and his consultation game is on point. Best believe we doing this again.
Interview with Ceasefire Productions
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Working closely with them to create a project they can be proud of.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The most recent album I worked on is also my current favorite of my own work, not that it's my album but rather one I produced for an artist named YYZ. I worked together with him as the producer / recording / mixing engineer, but also got to do some writing and singing throughout the album, as well as play all of the unsampled instruments myelf, so I felt like I was really infused with the music and was really happy with the result we reached as a team!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: If I could pick anyone currently is would probably be D'Angelo. He really knows how to take his time and produce a masterful body of work, and is great at choosing artists that complement his style and working with technicians to reach these great sounding mixes!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work primarily from my home studio, my laptop runs Reason 8 as my DAW, and I monitor through KRK Rokit 8's as well as Audiotechnica ath-m50x studio headphones. My control room is fitted with sound difusers for an optimal listening / recording environment. I use a number of midi controllers including a Samson Graphite 49 and Akai MPC rensissance
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired by such a huge spectrum of artists and technicians, including George Martin, Paul McCartney, Kanye West, DJ Premier, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Brian Wilson, Curtis Mayfield, the list is endless, typical, and always growing.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I most commonly work as a producer and mixing engineer for clients, creating melodies / beats / instrumentation for them, or mixing / editing their already recorded tracks.
