Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I did a record with Kerwin Du Bois, Teddyson John and Lyrikal (Top Caribbean Soca Artiste, 3 separate songs), that was my first time working with major Artist's in any genre of music and the records were amazing the experience was ground breaking and I learned a lot of production and mix techniques, networking, life lessons, social relationships and studio etiquette.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on 2 EPs, one is my personal EP and another with various artists and singles for signed artist's under my record label.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Analog for certain processing, larger head room, Digital because of workflow and plugins that technology has advanced so well to do amazing things.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to provide the best work that I am able to provide.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love my job I don't like it. I love being able to create what is in my head and how it makes me feel and deliver it through sounds that make people feel good.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How do you have the patience to do this? I love what I do and its not work if you love it.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That producers and beat makers are the same.

A: What inspires you?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be communicative and positive, knowing what you want and being direct and honest goes a long way. Don't ask for deals unless the provider offers.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Laptop, Headphones, Mic, SSD/HDD, solar chargeable power supply.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have always been involved with "Art" so any form of it has spoke to me, however music has always been my driving force, I have been producing for 20 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is my own, its unique but I utilize the production techniques used and customize them to fit my way of producing. I like to create music that emotion whether that will make you dance or feel nostalgic.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would like to work with a lot of artists but mainly with artists that will make me better as a producer.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Produce with feel, vibe, your ears and intuition.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I currently work mainly on House, Hip Hop, Trap, Caribbean, Afro, R&B.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is hearing the music within the music. There are some skills that can be developed and there are some that are innate.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I feel I bring a sense of unique vision and vibe. I am Canadian born, but I have Caribbean roots and grew up listening to a wide range of genres from the 80s to present. My ability to accept the changes of time and music has allowed me to grow with the changes as well which keeps me modern to today's music.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I love to start off by listening to my favourite records before I produce a track or work on a mix. When I am working on a production I will usually go through a bunch of sounds to get a feel for a vibe then go to work.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a sweet studio space, acoustically treated with a custom made production station. I am listening on Focal Alpha 65's and my near field monitors are Genelec 8010A. I have the Focusrite Scarlette 18i20 (looking to get into surround sound and Atmos mixing in the near future), Lavry Blue 4496, UAD-2 Satellite Octo, Mac Book Pro. I use a variety of DAWS which is essential for my work flow considering clients use different DAWS.
